We sell a variety of in stock flatbed straight deck deckover trailers in a 9900#-14000# GVW. Brands include Sure Trac, Lamar, Big Tex, and Ironbull. Locations in Carlisle (Harrisburg) and Irwin (Pittsburgh) PA, we service most surrounding states, including MD, DE, NY, MA, CT, VA, OH, and WV. Our most common length trailers with a straight deck/slide in ramps are 16-20' in a 9900# GVW (Sure Trac) or a 16-24' length in a 14000# GVW (Sure Trac/Lamar), but we stock a handful of configurations. Slide in ramps are nice as you still hand the ability to drive onto the deck, although not as convenient as a beavertail application for loading in regards to angle or ease of use. Slide in ramps also would not support as heavy of a load as stand up or full width ramps. Typically slide in ramps are ideal for hauling 10000# items or less, and heavier bobcats should be backed on to get a 50/50 axle split. Trailers with slide in ramps/flatbed can often be a few feet shorter than a beavertail trailer as there is no wasted space. Ideal tow vehicle is a 3/4 ton (14K GVW) or better, depending on the application and GVW, 1/2 ton will typically handle a 9900# GVW. 10K are usually built on a tube or channel frame to keep the weight down/payload up, whereas 14K's are built on a I-beam.
